It's Summertime!

Nothing says summertime like peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. Ok well maybe there are quite a few things that say summertime, but this weekend it screamed it out loud at the Havs household. Heavy on the crust light on the fruit, that is the way I like it. I attempted to make homemade peach cobbler for the first time on Memorial Day and I have to say it was a hit. The recipe was courtesy of Paula-Butta-Paula. I decreased the sliced peaches by a cup.

Bring on the Queso! Let's Fiesta!

I recently had the privilege to design a custom invitation for an engagement fiesta. The host wanted it bright, colorful and fun. This was the end result. Also as a gift the host and hostesses gave the bride and groom thank you notes for the event that match the invitation. What a great idea. That should make writing all of those thank you notes a little more enjoyable :)
